matador network
Matador was launching a new series with hosts Michael Motamedi and Vanessa Salas as they traveled the world with their toddler daughter — using a whatsapp AI travel chatbot as their primary guide, GuideGeek. The project needed a fresh, original identity that could feel adventurous, modern, and tech-forward, while also staying human and family-friendly.
We reframed idle space as boundless possibility — building a visual voice for No Fixed Address that speaks to movement, restlessness, and fresh terrain. From bold typography to kinetic layouts, the identity is anchored in the idea that no one stays in one place — and that growth happens when you keep shifting, exploring, adapting.
I developed the complete brand identity and design system for the series from the ground up. The visuals leaned into bold, editorial type paired with warm, global-inspired design elements — balancing the futuristic AI component with the authentic, personal nature of travel. The system flexed seamlessly across motion graphics, digital, and promotional materials, creating a recognizable and engaging visual experience.
The series stood out as one of the first to merge human storytelling with AI-guided travel, gaining attention in both the travel and tech industries. The design brought consistency and polish to the production, elevating the viewer experience while supporting the series’ positioning as innovative, adventurous, and family-centered.
